Chase Bank is offering a $300 bonus when you open a new Chase Total Checking® account. Requirements are as follows:
- Open a new Chase Total Checking® account using the promotional link.
- Have direct deposits totaling $500 or more made to this account within 90 days of enrollment.
A "direct deposit" is defined as an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government. Person-to-person payments (such as Zelle®) are not considered a direct deposit.
The Fine Print
- You can only receive one new checking account opening related bonus every two years from the last enrollment date.
- Bonus is considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT.
- Account must remain open for six months, otherwise the bonus will be deducted at closing.
